Description | The 14.8 acres site is located in Richmond Hill, with direct frontage on Major Mackenzie Drive, and the Rouge River, an environmentally sensitive protected area. The new 48,000sf facility is constructed from a steel frame, masonry, and insulated metal sandwich and flex wall panels. The facility presented numerous challenges in attaining SPA and Building Permit approvals from the Region of York, TRCA and Richmond Hill. |
Services Provided | Provided project management services based on a CCDC-5B Contract. Services included attaining municipal and provincial approvals. In addition, GGGI oversaw the facility’s design development, value engineering services, and phased procurement of the work. GGGI oversaw the implementation of the building, providing monthly status reports to the Union executive. |
